Black Tea Brewing Tips

Select a high quality black tea. Carlisle Tea’s large range includes single origin, blended and flavoured teas from the top growing regions around the world.

  1. Use one heaped teaspoon of dry leaves for every cup/person depending on your taste.
  2. Black tea is best brewed with water that has gone off the boil. Water that has boiled for too long will adversely affect the taste.
  3. Pour the water into your tea making vessel and stir.
  4. Allow the tea to brew for 3- 4 minutes.
