Getting Started as a Home Barista
Want to make café quality coffee at home but don’t know where to start? You need specific tools of the trade when making great espresso coffee at home. A knock box is a clean and easy way to dispose of used coffee grounds straight from the group head. Microfibre barista cloths are essential for proper cleaning of the steam wand, group head and surrounding areas. A stainless steel chocolate shaker will help you finish off the look of your cappuccino and a tamper mat will protect your benchtop from coffee grinds as you tamp your coffee. Spiced Chai

As the weather turns cold why not warm yourself up with some soothing chai tea. Click here to view our range.

Ingredients
  • Chai tea leaves
  • Water
  • Milk or soy milk
  • Honey to taste
Directions
  1. In a small pot place 1 teaspoon of the tea and spice mix and 1/2 a cup each of water and milk.
  2. Slowly bring the mixture to the boil watching it carefully.
  3. Just before it boils briskly whisk the mixture to create froth and remove from heat.
  4. Strain the mixture to seprate the leaves from the infusion of tea and spices.
  5. Pour the brewed tea into a cup and add honey or sweetener to taste.
